CricBattle Team of the Tournament

This team is solely based on the points earned by these players in CricBattle, the ones who earned he highest point feature here. I have tried to make a balanced team with 1 WK, batsmen, bowlers and all-rounders ensure I have 5-6 players who can give me my 20 overs. Here we go….

This seems to be the perfect combination, of players who have earned the highest points in the IPL (Full) at www.CricBattle.com

Uthappa and Smith opening the batting. One is in prolific form and the other can give a really quick start. Raina, Mr. Consistent to follow and we can expect some quickfire runs from him. Then starts this teams powerhouse middle order, in Warner, Maxwell and Devillers can post any score on the board fairly easily as all of them can clear the boundary really easily!!! Yuvraj Singh seems to be batting too low for a batsman of his class, but he can provide the firepower needed towards the end of the innings as seen repeatedly in this IPL.

For bowling, we have Mohit and Bhuvneshwar to open bowling and Maxwell can bowl a couple in the start too to unsettle the opponents plans. Tambe and Akshar have been brilliant in the middle overs and they will take over that responsibility for this All Star team too. Yuvraj Singh, Glenn Maxwell and Raina will have to bowl 4 overs between them, assuming none of the 4 main bowlers is taken for plenty. This could be the only weak link in the team but all are experienced and talented guys and know what’s required of them.

Captaincy can be a big issue, since none of these guys are IPL captains or current captains of their national T20 team, but I’m gonna give it to AB Devillers, one of the best batsman of the world and the current captain of the SA 50 over side.

People who missed out really closely: David Miller (1027), Ravindra Jadeja (969), Sunil Narine (925) cause of 4 foreign players rule, Shane Watson (765)....
