South Africa vs Australia on September 15

The last match between the two teams was played at the Senwes Park in Potchefstroom, where Australia won the toss and elected to field. Being put to bat proved to be a great decision for the African team, as the batters looked great right from the start. The openers slammed a sensational partnership of 146 runs, after which the baton was passed on to the middle order, and they did not disappoint. Aiden Markram smashed a brilliant century while remaining unbeaten, and a great finish touch with the help of Marco Jansen helped South Africa put up a huge total of 338 runs. Australia had already performed exceedingly well with the bat so far in the series and were confident of the chase. They went all guns blazing into the chase right from the start and were actually doing a great job. Within the first two partnerships, they had already added 140 runs in just 15 overs, and it seemed to be an easy chase. That is when the African bowling made a comeback and started taking wickets regularly, one after the other. Soon enough, Australia were bowled out for a total of 227 runs and lost the match by 111 runs.

Best economical pick – Sean Abbott is expected to be the key for the tourists in the upcoming match. Despite failing to pick a wicket in the third ODI, the pacer was instrumental for Australia in the first two games.

Top captains & vice captains Marnus Labuschagne has been the best batter of the series with 219 runs under his belt and has been scoring consistently. He can easily be named captain of your team. Aiden Markram smashed an unbeaten century in the third ODI and helped South Africa post a mammoth total. The 28-year-old amassed 102* off 74 deliveries, including nine boundaries and four maximums. The Proteas batter is expected to continue his sublime form in the upcoming match and help his side win.

Smart pick – Travis Head has been doing a fantastic job for Australia, scoring 135 runs and scalping two wickets in three matches. He can be a smart pick for your fantasy team.

Cautious Pick – Alex Carey has been able to score just 21 runs having played three matches in the series. He can be dropped from your team.

My XI – Marnus Labuschagne (Captain), Aiden Markram (Vice-Captain), Sean Abbott, Travis Head, Adam Zampa, Tabraiz Shamsi, Temba Bavuma, Quinton de Kock, Mitchell Marsh, David Warner, Rassie van der Dussen
