Rajasthan vs Chennai on May 20

The defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face the strong-looking Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their last group stage encounter of the Indian Premier League 2022. While RR secured a place in the playoffs after beating the new entrants Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their previous match, the Yellow Army lost their last contest against Gujarat Titans (GT). The encounter between RR and CSK will be played at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on May 20 (Friday). While the Royals will be boosted with the inclusion of their star batter Hetmyer, CSK might also look to make a few changes in their squad considering this is their last match in IPL 2022.

Best economical pick – The young pacer from Sri Lanka Matheesha Pathirana impressed everyone in his debut game as he scalped the big wickets of Shubman Gill and skipper Hardik Pandya. Pathirana will look to continue his good form with the bowl in the upcoming match and try to scalp some crucial wickets for his side.

Top captains & vice captains – England batter Jos Buttler is currently the top run-getter in IPL 2022. The right-handed batter has stroked a total of 627 runs at an excellent average of 52.25. However, Buttler has not been at his best for the past few encounters and will like to play a big knock in the upcoming match. Devon Conway has been impressive at the top scoring 236 runs in 6 matches at an average of 47 and the southpaw will look to finish the season on a positive note.

Smart pick – Yuzvendra Chahal is the leading wicket taker in this edition picking up 24 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 16.83 and the leg spinner will be a good option for this match.

Cautious Pick – Mitchell Santner has not looked threatening with the ball having picked up just 3 wickets in 5 matches so far this season. Avoid him for this match.

My XI – Jos Buttler (Captain), Devon Conway (Vice-Captain), Y Chahal, Matheesha Pathirana, Trent Boult, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devdutt Paddikal, Moeen Ali, Sanju Samson, Shimron Hetmyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal
