Smart pick – Yuzvendra Chahal will enjoy bowling on the Ekana surface. The pitch might not have been as favourable for the spinners as it was last year but there is enough in it to keep them interested. Chahal has been in prolific form, having picked up 13 wickets from eight games at an average of 20.38. His four overs will be key for the Royals.

Cautious Pick – It has been a huge cause of worry for a lot of cricket fans at the way Ravichandran Ashwin has bowled during this season of IPL. The 37-year-old has picked just one wicket and that came in the game versus LSG at the start of the season. If this continues, RR may act tough and look to draft in someone else to replace the veteran spinner.
