CricBattle Daily Fantasy Cricket League Tips

Gujarat vs Delhi on April 17

DC won their previous match against LSG, which was very essential for them. The comeback of Kuldeep Yadav and the debut of Jake Fraser McGurk was highly essential. The duo played a key role for DC to win the match. On the other hand, GT won their last game against the table toppers, Rajasthan Royals. They remain the only team that has beaten RR in the league. Titans are placed in the sixth spot in the points table. They have three wins and losses each in their six matches. DC is placed in the ninth position in the points table, a position above RCB. They have two wins and four losses to their name in six matches so far. Both teams would be looking forward to the game, which would be crucial for them. DC might be in need to win by a big margin, given their net run rate. GT would be hoping to give their best performance in front of the home crowd.

Best economical pick Prithvi Shaw has been one of the best batters for DC in the ongoing season. The youngster has played well in most of the matches. Whenever he got going, DC was in a good position in the match. Shaw is aggressive and can score brisk fifties.

Top captains & vice captains – Star Gujarat Titans skipper and opener Shubman Gill could be the best batter in the upcoming game against Delhi Capitals. Gill has been in brilliant form as of late and was the driving force that led Titans to a win against Rajasthan Royals, and he would be keen on putting in a similar showing in the upcoming game as well. Rishabh Pant's comeback has been good so far. The Southpaw has played good knocks in the last 3-4 matches and got better with each game. Even as a wicketkeeper, he has shown improvement. As a skipper, he needs to be better in decision-making.

Smart pick – Veteran Gujarat Titans pacer Mohit Sharma could be the best bowler in the upcoming game against Delhi Capitals. With 18 wickets in his last 10 matches, Mohit Sharma has been in brilliant form, and his spell could go a long way in propelling his side to a win.

Cautious Pick – Mitchell Marsh sustained an injury during the game against MI. It kept him out of action against LSG. He is likely to remain out of action against GT too. His replacement, Jake Fraser-McGurk, did well in the game against LSG.

My XI – Shubman Gill (Captain), Rishabh Pant (Vice-Captain), Mohit Sharma, Prithvi Shaw, Rashid Khan, David Warner, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Anrich Nortje, Tristian Stubbs, Jake Fraser-McGurk
