In guiding arsenal to 4th last season Arsene Wenger made it 18-straight top 4 finishes. The Gunners have had to hold off Totternham in recent times, but last term they saw off the challenge of a Roberto Martinez-inspired Everton.
Despite this, it was a bittersweet campaign for the North Londoners, who spend the most weeks of the season on top of the ladder and up until Christmas were considered favorites for the Title……
But the real joy for fans and players came when Arsenal won their first trophy in 8 years which came as FA cup… To add to it they have won the Community Shield 3-0 against defending premier league champs Man City in the beginning of the season….
Determined not to repeat what they did last season, Wenger has aggressively pursued his targets in the transfer market bringing Alexis Sanchez, Debuchy, Chambers and Ospina adding quality to the squard.
The challenge is for new arrivals to adjust quickly and for likes of Walcott, Wilshere, Ramsey to stay fit for entire campaign. If they can then a sure Top 4 position and who knows the title might come there way……….
Prediction: 2nd(3rd)
