1) Always taking excuse by saying inexperienced bowling attack by the bowling coach
You will be forced with a inexperienced bowling unit, if they rest their leading wicket taker, once for all (Unadkat) and i didnt mean that he is an experienced one. Just dropping him after: one off match, where he was smashed all over the gnd by Dwayne Smith, is not fair. And leaving out Shami and Parnell out of playing x1, is unpardonable. If the batsman are not able to put some runs on board, one cant expect the bowlers to defend small totals.
2) Picking wrong opening pair
If you guys remember, Vijay was away from csk playing x1 for a few matches due to poor form. And DD bought him for a huge amount during auction. Me being a CSK fan was very happy, as he is not part of CSK anymore. It took them 5-6 matches to realise he is not good enough to make to playing x1. (which is a big number of matches in IPL)
3)DK and KP
DK going for such a huge price, meant very less to spend on other players. And if they had plans of playing Kock, what is the need for DK as a keeper. Is he too good for the 12crs(appx) as a batsman??? And the next big worry for them is KP form. A foriegn player as a capt, is always a big concern. He is not in prime/ good form and takes a foreign players spot..which leads to spoils their team combination.
4) Kedhar Jadav position
He showed some hopes of lifing their teams morale..I am not sure, whether he is such a good talent..But they should have promoted him up the order and see how good, he could be..(Similar to cooper cameo today)
And many other reasons....Is really Gary Kirsten their coach?? Is he the same Gary who lead us to WC2011 victory?? Has the coach has any role to play in T20 format??
