My views on what i feel are the team's strength, weaknesses, and how long can they run into the tournament.

Strengths: They have bought a super dooper lineup thanks to the auction and many pundits are termign them as favorites after seeing their squad depth. In Steyn they have the world's best bowler, in Warner, Finch and Dhawan some of the best batsmen in the game. Woah !! this line-up looks dangerous. In Darren Sammy they have one of the best finishers + useful bowler and Amit Mishra topis it up with Irfan Pathan, Bhuvi, Juneja, name them and Sunrisers have that player. This are very useful T20 players, but will they click together?

Weakness: Shikhar Dhawan as captain raises questions. Apart from that the big talking point, will all these explosive hitters be of any use on the slow and low Hydrebad pitch? If this was the Bangalore pitch then yes, they are certain winners, but their home pitches might be very tough to hndle for this batting unit full of hitters. Warner, Finch can't play spin well, and Dhawan is out of form. The slowness of the pitch will also affect Steyn's bowling and all in all though these players are great the pitch and conditions wouldn't really support them. Other than the top 3, their batting is in bits and pieces and 2 early wickets and they are out of the game most likely. Also, their trump card Ishant Sharma and it will play a huge factor whether he's in a wicket taking mood or gifting runs mood !!

My starting 11:

Warner

Dhawan (c)

Finch

Manpreet Juneja

Darren Sammy

Irfan Pathan

Naman Ojha

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Dale Steyn

Amit Mishra

Ishant Sharma

IPL Predicted finish: 6th place blush
