My views on what i feel are the team's strength, weaknesses, and how long can they run into the tournament.

Strengths: RR have always been the team to watch out for simply because they don't spend on big names but their buys produce big performances. The likes of Samson, Tambe, Watson, last year Dravid, Hodge, Rahane, everyone contributed. This time they have bought another Binny like bowler in Bhatia who will be their biggest weapon on slow pitches. To add to that they have also bought some good U-19 stars in Hooda and Bains and who knows what they might come up with if given a chance. In Watson and Faulkner they have 2 great all-rounders who can turn the game on it's head.

Weakness: Depending too heavily on international bowlers to deliver which might lead to an all Indian + Watson batting line-up. That might be inexperienced but with Dravid as a mentor anythign is possible. Tambe is their lead spinner with Iqbal as the other option, and both are decent but don't have the fear factor a Narine possesses. The batting would depend too much on Rahane as an opener and he must give solid starts everytime just like he did last season. Handing over captaincy to Watto might prove to be a mistake as he is not the best of captains, but thre was no other experienced player to play that role either.
