My views on what i feel are the team's strength, weaknesses, and how long can they run into the tournament.

Strengths: They started fresh in the auctions and have put together a decent team, at least on paper. They have heavily invested in their batting, specially in KP, DK and Vijay. The top order seems to be secure, but it's the bowling that need to worry about. Apart from the team, they have guru Gary as their coach, which is a great asset to have. In Duminy and Neesham they have solid all-rounders in their squad too, it depends on whom they pick. KP has retired from International cricket, and now his focus is solely on T20 cricket, which is great for the team. 

Weakness: They heavily depend on their top order, which might leave a hole or two in the lower middle order to provide the fire power at the end. Who shall be the finisher for them? Apart from that, their bowling is a bit of a concern specially when the leader is Shami Ahmed who is a great bowler but is a tad expensive himself. The leader, KP thought might be a great personality but isn;t the best of the leaders. To add to that, being international if he is really out of form it might affect the team's balance overall, and his communication with young Indians is vital too.
