Gameweek 18 – Matches(1-10)

As we approach the midway point of the season the Premier League ladder is really starting to take shape. Chelsea made it 8 wins in a row, Manchester City came from behind to beat Arsenal. Spurs ans Manchester United squeezed out wins while Mane scored in injury time to hand Liverpool all 3 points in the Merseyside Derby. The sides will have a slightly extended rest leading into Gameweek 18 but things are about to get crazy with games in the space of a week. It is a crucial period and one in which could see sides play musical chairs in the standings. Who will take advantage and who will fade away? Let’s find out. Here’s our preview for EPL Gameweek 18 for all the Fantasy League Managers.

Best economical pick – Estonian’s defender Ragnar Klavan has replaced Matip as one of the central defenders along side Lovren. He has done a decent job with 2 clean sheets in his last 3 EPL games for Liverpool. He is a good grab available at salary 7.

Top captains & vice captains – Belgian man Thibaut Courtois is doing great with the gloves with 5 clean sheets in his last 7 EPL games and Chelsea’s strong defense has helping the cause. He is a great pick available at salary 9.5. The Former PSG forward and Manchester United’s main man Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back to his goal scoring form. He has been impressive lately with 7 goals in his last 7 EPL games. He is an amazing pick for your fantasy team available at salary 11.

Smart pick – Senegalese star signing Sadio Mane has been a consistent performer for Liverpool. He has a big part in Liverpool’s success so far this season. He has 4 goals and 3 assists in last 7 EPL Games. He is an assured pick available at salary 10.

Be careful – England’s mid-fielder Ross Barkley hasn’t been having a great time for Everton lately. He only has 1 goal and 1 assist in his last 7 EPL games. He isn’t a recommended pick available at salary 9.5.

My XI –  Thibaut Courtois (GK & Captain), Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Vice-Captain), Diego Costa, Alexis Sanchez, Cesar Azpilicueta, Gabriel Paulista, Marcos Alonso, Ragnar Klavan, Raheem Sterling, Bamidele Alli, Sadio Mane.
