CricBattle Weekly Fantasy Football Leagues Tips:
Gameweek 17 – Matches(1-10)
The Chelsea train kept rolling midweek while Manchester City, Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester United all found themselves back in the winner’s circle. Arsenal were the only side in the top 8 to drop points and it has seen Chelsea extend their lead at the top to 6 points. We could see more changes at the pointy end after the weekend with two huge clashes. Manchester City host Arsenal at Etihad Stadium but for the match of the round we head to Goodison Park for the next installment of one of the great football rivalries – the Merseyside Derby! While on the other hand Tottenham and Chelsea have easy games against Burnley and Crystal Palace respectively. Lets see what this game week has for Fantasy scouts. Here’s our preview for EPL Gameweek 17 for all the Fantasy League Managers.
Best economical pick – Chelsea’s young sensation Marcos Alonso has been playing really well. He has 1 goal, 1 assist and 5 clean sheets to his name in his last 7 EPL games. Its advantageous for Fantasy Managers as he goes forward as a left back and has chances to assist and score. He is a decent grab available at salary 7.
Top captains & vice captains – Danish’s star mid-fielder Christian Eriksen is in great goal scoring form for Tottenham. He has 5 goals and 1 assist in his last 4 EPL games. He is a great pick for your team available at salary 10. France’ goal keeper Hugo Lloris has 5 clean sheets this season and is more likely to have a clean sheet against Burnley as well. He is a good pick available at salary 9.5.
Smart pick – England’s mid-fielder Adam Lallana has taken the responsibility to lead the attack in the absence of Coutinho. He has 3 goals and 3 assists in his last 4 EPL games. He is an interesting pick for your fantasy team available at salary 9.5.
Be careful – Switzerland’s main man Xherdan Shaqiri has failed to make impact for Stoke City in recent games. He hasn’t scored in his past 6 EPL games. He isn’t a great pick available at salary 9.5.
My XI – Christian Eriksen(Captain), Hugo Lloris(GK & Vice-Captain), Diego Costa, Alexis Sanchez, Kyle Walker, Danny Rose, Marcos Alonso, Paul Pogba, Adam Lallana, Martins Indi, Jan Vertonghen.
