In the second ODI Faf du Plessis and Jean-Paul Duminy played fierce knocks and South African team posted 361 runs target. In counter, Australia got all-out on 219 runs. Du Plesiss become the only second player to score centuries in all 3 formats of game as a captain.

·       Smart pick – In response to Pakistan’s huge total, Darren Bravo who scored 61 runs and Kraigg Brathwaite (39) tried to give their side the momentum with an 89 run stand for the second wicket. But with Brathwaite’s dismissal, that continuity was lost.

·         Cautions Pick – If West Indies is wanted to win this final ODI match all their batsman should perform well. Besides all the star players from West Indies team Kieron Pollard, Narine, DJ Bravo, and Braithwaite were failed in this series. West Indies only can win if these players will perform well.
