England v Pakistan on August 30

·         Hosts England continued their resurgence in the limited overs format, cruising past Pakistan by four wickets in the second ODI, to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. The Three Lions go in to Tuesday's game knowing that a win will be enough for them to seal the series and are not expected to make any changes to their lineup. Wasim Akram, Pakistan's legendary left-arm bowler recently said that his country is playing ODI cricket like it's in the 1990's and he is absolutely right with the sub-continent nation currently struggling to keep pace with the game especially in the shorter formats. The Men in Green are famed for their bowling, but the bowlers looked flat once again. They were unable to trouble the England batsman which will be a concern for the team management going forward in the series. Pakistan will look to make changes in the side for the third ODI in what is a must-win game for them.

·         Best economical pick – That Pakistan could muster up 251 with the bat in the second odi was due to the brilliance of keeper-batsman Sarfraz Ahmed, who scored 105 runs, his second ODI ton. At one point, Pakistan were struggling at 3-2 only for Sarfraz and Babar Azam and Imad Wasim to help the visitors recover.

·         Top captains & vice captains – The batting of English team meanwhile looks in good hands, with Joe Root in particular excelling once again. Root scored 89 runs, his fourth consecutive ODI fifty to take England home, he got support from skipper Eoin Morgan who put his wretched form behind him to hit a measured 68, his first fifty in 12 innings..

·         Smart pick – Bowling first in seaming conditions, England's pacers made most of the conditions on offer bowling out their opponents to just 251 runs in the second odi. Pace-bowler Chris Woakes impressed getting pace and bounce which troubled the Pakistan batsman.

·       Cautions Pick – After scoring a mammoth hundred against Ireland, The Pakistani opener Sharjeel Khan has failed to continue hiss good form against England. The southpaw scored two single digit scores in the first two odis. Must be a cautious pick for any fantasy team.

My XI – Joe Root (Captain), Eoin Morgan (Vice-Captain), Sarfraz Ahmed, Chris Woakes, Babar Azam, Jason Roy, Mark Wood, Liam Plunkett, Imad Wasim, Adil Rashid, Mohammad Amir
