·         Best economical pick – The South African middle order batsman Temba Bavuma has been a real find for South African cricket. He is the first black South African to score a century in test cricket. He scored a crucial 46 runs knock in the first test.

·         Top captains & vice captains – The South African batting star Hashim Amla averages 87.92 runs from 14 test match innings at this venue. He will look to continue his dream run at Supersport Park. New Zealand Captain Kane Williamson has been the backbone of New Zealand batting lineup. He has centuries at every nation where he played except South Africa. So he will look to score a century in the last to create a unique record.

·       Smart pick – The most recent test match at this venue came in January this year when South Africa beat England by 280 runs. Cook, Amla and de Kock all made it to a century in a first innings total of 475 and Kagiso Rabada’s 7 wicket haul then restricted England to a reply of 342. After setting England 382 for victory Rabada took 6 more wickets in the final innings where England crumbled to 101 all out.

·       Cautions Pick – Coming into this Test, South Africa have problems of their own mostly in relation to bowling. The pace bowlers has very expensive in the last test series against England. Wayne Parnell is one of them.
