·         Defending champions Trinbago Knight Riders have had a disappointing tournament so far winning just one of their three games, finding themselves fourth on the points table with just two points from three games. The Jamaica Tallawahs had a brilliant start to their campaign winning their first game against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on 2^nd July. The conclusion of Sri Lanka's month-long tour to England sees the teams move to the shortest format of the game where they play a solitary T20 International. The hosts have been victorious in both the Test and One Day International series and come into this game as the favorites. Visitors Sri Lanka would be glad to end their horror of a tour to England, where they have failed to win even one game against the hosts, despite having played four Tests and five ODIs.

·         Best economical pick – A bruising left-hander with strong shots square of the wicket Colin Munro scored the first hundred of this years CPL, off just 65 balls, but that was not enough as the rest of the batsmen failed to rally around him.  

·         Top captains & vice captains – There have been some brilliant performances from the Three Lions especially in the ODI format. Especially the opener Jason Roy who was declared as the man of the series with most runs of this series. There have been glimpses of a fight shown by Sri Lankan team on this tour, in particular from Dinesh Chandimal who has been brilliant throughout the Test and ODI series. He was the top run getter for Sri Lanka in the ODI series.

·       Smart pick – The Jamaican fast bowler Kesrick Williams was the star of the Jamaica Tallawahs win against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots picking up three wickets to take home the player of the match award.

·       Cautions Pick – The Knight Riders' main problem is that their bowlers have not backed the batsmen. The knight rider bowler Kevon Cooper who conceded 38 runs off just 3 overs costed them the match against Guyana Amazon Warriors.
