CricBattle Daily Fantasy Football Leagues Tips:

France  vs  Iceland   on July 3rd

France were forced to come from behind to beat Ireland in the last round and still haven't produced a convincing display. Much like England, Iceland could really frustrate the hosts on Sunday and could actually knock them out of the competition. Iceland are in dream land after their unexpected win over England. They have never beaten France in their previous 11 meetings, losing eight of them, and it would take a remarkable performance for them to knock out one of the favorites here. While they certainly have what it takes to frustrate France, beating them might be one step too far.

Best economical pick – Barcelona’s new young signing Samuel Umtiti has reportedly been given the nod to start over Eliaquim Mangala with Adil Rami suspended. The central defender is a nice pick available at salary 7.

Top captains & vice captains – The Atletico Madrid’s sensation Antoine Griezmann played spectacularly against Republic of Ireland by helping France come back from behind by scoring 2 goals inside 3 mins. He already has 3 goals in this Euros and is expected to fire against this Iceland’s defense. The West Ham’s star Dimitri Payet has lost his touch in his previous two games but he is more likely to get his name on the scoresheet and it won’t be a better chance than playing against Iceland in the quarter-final.

Smart pick –   FC Kaiserslautern’s striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson has been playing well  for Iceland. He scored a goal against Austria and also has an assist to his name. He will be a clever pick for your fantasy team.

Be careful –   Against this strong attack of France, Iceland’s goal keeper Hannes Halldorsson wouldn’t be a sensible pick for your fantasy team as you will be inviting negative points.

My XI – Antoine Griezmann (Captain), Dimitri Payet (Vice-Captain), Bacary Sagna, Patrice Evra, Birkir Bjarnason, Samuel Umtiti, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, Hugo Lloris (GK), Olivier Giroud, Aron Gunnarsson.
