St Kitts and Nevis Patriots vs Guyana Amazon Warriors

·         Led by Faf du Plessis who is the captain of South Africa's Twenty20 team, the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots side who were the new entrants to the league last year are relatively un-fancied. The outfit finished in last position during CPL 2015 and will need their big guns to fire if they hope to mount some sort of challenge this time around. One of the more consistent sides in the history of the Caribbean Premier League, Guyana Amazon Warriors pulled off a coup in acquiring New Zealander Martin Guptill in the auction. Guptill is set to captain a side featuring the likes of Adam Zampa, Sohail Tanvir, Dwayne Smith and Chris Lynn.

·         Best economical pick – The Australian Leg spinner Adam Zampa who came to limelight when he took a 6-fer in an IPL match this year. He has been bowling superbly since then. Zampa bowled some useful spells in the tri series recently which Australia won.

·         Top captains & vice captains – We have witnessed the destructive batting of Lendl Simmons in ICC WT20 against India in the semifinal match. Simmons has been very consistent in this format you can trade him as your captain. The world No.1 bowler in T20 format Samuel Badree will make a comeback to cricket after a long time. He played his last in the T20 world cup 2016.

·       Smart pick – A chinaman bowler with ample variations and a googly, Tabraiz Shamsi emerged as South Africa were starting to warm to the wave of spinners being produced at domestic levels. Shamsi proved himself in the recently concluded IPL by some match winning performance.

·       Cautions Pick – It will be very risky to trade Players like Thisara Perera who can be very expensive with his bowling which might cost you negative points and can get out for cheaply. Simply you can’t put your money on players like Perera.

·       My XI – Lendl Simmons (Captain), Samuel Badree (Vice-Captain), Adam Zampa, Tabraiz Shamsi, Chris Lynn, Faf du Plessis, Anthony Bramble, D Smith, Kieran Powell, Jonathan Carter, Tino Best
