Trinbago Knight Riders vs St. Lucia Zouks on June 30

·         The Trinbago Knight Riders will begin the defense of their Caribbean Premier League title when they take on the St Lucia Zouks in the inaugural contest of this year’s tournament. While the hosts managed to win last year’s competition on the backs of a strong run in the playoffs, the Zouks had flattered to deceive. Both teams have made certain changes heading into this year’s edition of the tournament. Both teams have plenty of talent heading into the inaugural fixture of the CPL 2016. They have picked players wisely, keeping the balance of the team in mind. If they play to their potential, the spectators are in for a treat of a match on Wednesday. All eyes will be on the skippers of their respective teams with Bravo and Sammy the key players in either side.

·         Best economical pick – The Australian All-Rounder Shane Watson who has retired from International cricket will play the full tournament this year. After Retiring from International cricket Watson gave a fantastic performance in the Indian premier league by scoring runs with bat and taking wicket consistently for his franchise.

·       Top captains & vice captains – The Trinbago Knight Riders signed South African opener Hashim Amla this year. Who has been in superb form in this format in recent time. Amla scored some runs in this year’s IPL. He will look to continue his form in this tournament also. The star West Indian All-Rounder Dwayne Bravo will lead the hosts as they look to mount a successful defense of their trophy.

·       Smart pick – Brendon McCullum will be available for the entire duration of the tournament in what will be a major boost to Trinbago Knight Riders team. The former Kiwi skipper is known as one of the best player of this format.

·       Cautions Pick – The South African middle order batsman David Miller who is going through a lean patch in this year might cost you some points if you trade him in your team. So be cautious before picking these type of players.

·       My XI – Hashim Amla (Captain), D Bravo (Vice-Captain), Shane Watson, B McCullum, Kevon Cooper, Sulieman Benn, Shane Shillingford, Andre Fletcher,  Nitish Kumar, Darren Sammy, Keddy Lesporis
