IPL Fantasy League 2016 Tips: RPS vs KXIP & GL vs MI

·         Pune Supergiants are coming into the contest after a victory over Delhi Daredevils at the same venue, their home ground, while Punjab have lost their last two outings against RCB and table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad. With seven wins in 13 matches, Mumbai are currently placed fifth, tied on 14 points with Royal Challengers Bangalore (3rd) and Kolkata Knight Riders (4th) both having better net run-rate with one match to go. Gujarat, on the other hand, are at the second spot with 16 points from 13 matches and a victory will seal their play-off berth.

·         Best economical pick – The kiwi seamer Mitchell McClenaghan have led the Mumbai Indians bowling attack well in this season with 17 wickets in 13 matches and remains the top wicket-taker this season. He has been supported well by other Mumbai Indians pacers.

·         Top captains & vice captains – The Calm, composed, gritty and solid opening batsman of Pune Supergiants Ajinkya Rahane is a key player in the Supergiant’s batting line-up. He is the top run scorer of RPS in this season with 461 runs to his name. The Kings XI Punjab’s skipper Murali Vijay is leading from front his team in this season after he took over the captainship from the out of form David Miller. He has scored 394 runs in this season with four half centuries to his name.

·         Smart pick – Mumbai Indians' all-rounder Krunal Pandya has caught the eyeballs with his batting exploits in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League. Krunal, who has outshined his brother Hardik this season with his all-round show has scored 233 runs and has taken 6 wickets in this season so far.

·        Be careful – The destructive middle order batsman of South Africa David Miller has been out of form in this season of IPL. After failing in the first few matches of this IPL KXIP management sacked him from captaincy. He has scored just 154 runs in 13 matches in this season.

My XI – Ajinkya Rahane (Captain), Murali Vijay (Vice-Captain), Mitchell McClenaghan, Krunal Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Ashoke Dinda, MS Dhoni, Dwayne Smith, Aaron Finch, George Bailey
