IPL Fantasy League 2016 Tips: GL vs KXIP & RPS vs MI

·         Table-toppers Gujarat Lions will look to consolidate their position when they take on laggards Kings XI Punjab in an Indian Premier League match. Punjab are lying at the bottom of the table with only two points from six matches, while Lions have managed to perch themselves at the top of the IPL standings with 12 points in seven matches. On a downward spiral after suffering their 5th loss of the season, debutants Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) would look to plug the holes in bowling to get their campaign back on track when they face title-holders Mumbai Indians.

·         Best economical pick – The opening batsman Dwayne Smith of Gujarat Lions is in superb form in this tournament. Smith has already scored 2 half centuries in the 3 matches he played in this season. He is scoring runs with a strike rate of over 200 constantly.

·        Top captains & vice captains – The Mumbai Indians Skipper Rohit Sharma has already scored 4 half centuries in this tournament. He is a little bit of consistent now. You can trust him as your captain. The retired kiwi skipper Brendon McCullum is scoring runs with a decent strike in the top of order for Gujarat Lions. He is scoring almost a strike rate of 200 in this season. Played 3 back to back destructive knocks in last 3 matches.

·         Smart pick – The young leg spinner of Rising Pune Supergiants Murugan Ashwin is bowling superbly in this tournament. He has taken 7 wickets in the 7 IPL matches he played till now. Murugan Ashwin will be a smart pick.

·        Be careful – Hardik Pandya can be very expensive with bowling at any day. And may not get chance to bat in a match. He performing poorly in this season. Neither scoring runs with bat nor taking wicket with bowling.

My XI – Rohit Sharma (Captain), B McCullum (Vice-Captain), Dwayne Smith, Murugan Ashwin, Ambati Rayudu, Manan Vohra, Mitchell McClenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah, Parthi Patel, DJ Bravo, Glenn Maxwell
