IPL Fantasy League 2016 Tips: RPS vs RCB

·         Facing a similar crisis after two successive defeats, both Rising Pune Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore would look to bring their campaign back on track when they face each other in an IPL match. After impressive starts, both Pune and RCB have faltered in their last two games and come tomorrow the two sides would be looking to outwit each other in a bid to return to winning ways. With one win and two defeats, both the teams have identical two points each but the Pune outfit is a place above RCB in the standings at fifth position by virtue of a better net run rate.

·         Best economical pick – The young sensational batsman of RCB Sarfraz Khan Played a destructive knock of 32 runs of just 10 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad. But unfortunately got run out in the next match against DD. Then scored another cameo against Mumbai Indians.

·        Top captains & vice captains – Mr. 360* AB de Villiers is in superb form in IPL. He scored a blistering knock of 82 runs in just 42 balls with 6 huge sixes against SRH. Then scored another half century against DD. After that scored 26 runs against Mumbai Indians. The most consistent batsman of this format yes I am talking about Virat Kohli also scored back to back half centuries in the first 2 matches of IPL. Then scored 31 runs off 30 balls against Mumbai Indians.

·         Smart pick – The young leg spinner of Rising Pune Supergiants Murugan Ashwin is bowling superbly in this tournament. He has taken 6 wickets in the 3 IPL matches he played till now. Murugan Ashwin will be a smart pick.

·        Be careful – Ishant Sharma went for 32 runs in his 4 overs against Mumbai Indians in the first match. Then conceded 39 runs in 4 overs against Gujarat Lions in the next match. Then conceded many runs against KXIP next match. He can be very expensive in any day so pick him in your team at your own risk.

My XI – AB de Villiers (Captain), Virat Kohli (Vice-Captain), Sarfraz Khan, M Ashwin, Y Chahal, Kane Richardson, Irfan Pathan, MS Dhoni, Kevin Pietersen, Iqbal Abdullah, Faf du Plessis
