IPL Fantasy League 2016 Tips: KXIP vs KKR

·         Kings XI Punjab would want to secure their second win on the trot when they host Kolkata Knight Riders. However, it will not be easy to topple the men in purple who dominated Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last encounter. KKR won the game quite convincingly with Gautam Gambhir contributing an unbeaten 90 in their quest for a total of 142/7. The Kings themselves did not have a kingly start to their campaign as they came out second best in their first two games. At the start, they lost to Gujarat Lions by five wickets and then were beaten by Delhi Daredevils by eight wickets. However, on Sunday, Punjab stunned Mahendra Singh Dhoni led Pune Rising Supergiants by six wickets. The win would immensely boost their confidence ahead of the KKR tie.

·         Best economical pick Manish Pandey is a naturally gifted batsman who plays in the top order position. He is an aggressive right handed batsman. Scored 18 runs against Delhi Daredevils. Then played a blistering knock of 52 runs in just 29 balls against MI. After that he scored 11 runs against SRH. His salary is just 9 and he can give you minimum 100 points.

·        Top captains & vice captains – The captain of KKR Gautam Gambhir has been in good form in this IPL. He is the orange cap holder right now with 192 runs in just 3 matches in this season. The opener of KXIP Manan Vohra is performing really well in this tournament. Scored a match winning innings against RPS in previous match.

·         Smart pick – The right-arm medium pacer from Punjab Sandeep Sharma is bowling superbly in this tournament. He has taken 4 wickets in the first 3 matches of IPL with an economy of under 7.

·        Be careful – The KXIP all-rounder Axar Patel is an inconsistent player. He can be very expensive with ball and can score a duck in any match of IPL. Be careful before picking him in your team.

My XI – Gautam Gambhir (Captain), Manan Vohra (Vice-Captain), Manish Pandey, Sandeep Sharma, Mohit Sharma, Piyush Chawla, Glenn Maxwell, Robin Uthappa, Murali Vijay, Pradeep Sahu, Yousuf Pathan
