· Perennial under-achievers Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab will look to recover from opening losses and put their campaign back on track when they clash in an IPL match. Laggards last season, Delhi and Punjab had hoped for a positive start but both the teams suffered contrasting defeats at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders and Gujarat Lions respectively. Delhi had finished 7th in the 2015 edition and they would be looking to get their combination right to get into the winning mode. On the other hand, Kings XI Punjab, who have been the runner-up and semi-finalists in the past IPLs, were equally lackluster as they finished at the bottom of the table last year.
· Best economical pick – The smart Indian all-rounder Pawan Negi is bought by Delhi Daredevils franchise with a huge price. Although he failed against KKR in the first match. But he have a capability of scoring big runs and taking wickets in this format. His salary is just 8 and he can give you minimum 100 points.
· Top captains & vice captains – The opening batsman of KXIP Murali Vijay has been in good touch. Scored 42 runs of 34 balls against Gujarat Lions. A smart pick for captain in any fantasy team. The West Indian All-rounder Carlos Brathwaite is a hard hitter of cricket ball and a useful bowler. Although he scored just 6 runs in the first match but you can pick him as your Vice-Captain.
· Smart pick – Sanju Samson is one of the most promising youngster in India, who plays from Kerala. The wicket keeper batsman batting in the middle-order he has shown the temperament to adapt to various situations and conditions. Scored 15 runs against KKR in the first match.
· Be careful – The KXIP all-rounder Axar Patel is an inconsistent player. He can be very expensive with ball and can score a duck in any match of IPL. Be careful before picking him in your team.
My XI – Murali Vijay (Captain), C Brathwaite (Vice-Captain), Pawan Negi, Sanju Samson, Quinton de Kock, Sandeep Sharma, Amit Mishra, David Miller, Manan Vohra, Shreyas iyer, Glenn Maxwell
