CB Expert Advice

·         Almost at the start of every season, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is tagged as one of the favorites to win the IPL title. However, the Virat Kohli-led side has never lived up to the expectations. And this year it is no different. RCB is yet again amongst the pre-tournament favorites to win the coveted trophy. There is a reason why RCB feature amongst the favorites their team combination. Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle and Shane Watson are the main attractions in the batting department. With Mitchell Starc not available due to injury, the bowling lacks a spearhead. However, spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has been a consistent performer for the team. And he will have the support of Samuel Badree, Watson and Sreenath Aravind. RCB open their IPL 2016 campaign against strong looking Sunrisers Hyderabad at home. Led by David Warner, the Hyderabad side boasts of Shikhar Dhawan Eoin Morgan, Kane Williamson, Ashish Nehra and Mustafizur Rahman.

·          Best economical pick – The young sensational batsman of RCB Sarfraz Khan had a superb U19 World Cup under his belt before coming to IPL. He was the top run scorer in the U19 World Cup. He scores runs at a strike rate of over 150.

·        Top captains & vice captains – The most consistent batsman of this format and the captain of RCB Virat Kohli is in his form of life in T20 format this year. He is scoring runs for fun this year. The Man of the tournament in WT20 will be a perfect choice for Captain for this match. The World Boss Chris Gayle is the most destructive batsman in this format. He can hammer any bowling attack on his day. He scores runs at a strike rate of nearly 200. A sure shot pick for any team.

·        Smart pick – The best batsman of this era Mr. 360 AB De Villiers have a good record in IPL. He can destroy any bowling attack any day at anywhere on his will.

·        Be careful – The opening batsman of India and SRH Shikhar Dhawan is the most inconsistent batsman in this format. He dropped from Indian team in the semifinal against for his inconsistent performance in WT20. Pick him in your team at your own risk.

My XI – Virat Kohli (Captain), Chris Gayle (Vice-Captain), AB de Villiers, Sarfraz Khan, Aditya Tare, Yuzvendra Chahal , Adam Milne, Mustafizur Rahman, Shane Watson, B Kumar, Deepak Hooda
