New Zealand vs England on November 5

New Zealand will lock horns with England in the 3rd T20I of five matches series on Nov 5, 2019. The series is evenly balanced with 1-1, as the home team won the last game by 21 runs, while England won the 1st T20I by 7 wickets. New Zealand posted a total of 176/8 in 20 overs where Martin Guptill and James Neesham played a fine knock of 41(28) and 42(22) respectively. There was also a good cameo by Colin de Grandhomme where he made 28 runs from 12 balls. In reply, England managed to make only 155 runs in 19.5 overs where Mitchell Santner took three wickets by giving away 25 runs for which he was awarded Man of the Match. England side is led by Eoin Morgan while New Zealand is playing under the captaincy of Tim Southee. Both teams will look forward to winning the upcoming game and take a lead in the five matches T20I series. After a dominant win in the previous game, New Zealand shouldn't be making any changes. Although they haven't fired yet, Colin Munro and Martin Guptill remain crucial at the top of the order. A couple of changes are expected from England with Tom Banton expected to make his T20I debut at the expense of Dawid Malan. Youngster, Matthew Parkinson could also feature for Pat Brown, who wasn't able to get a wicket in the previous game.

Best economical pick – The bowling all-rounder has time and again proved that he is a valuable asset for the Black Caps and Mitchell Santner continued that trend in the 2ndT20I as well. The spinner picked up three wickets to bring the hosts back into the series but and won the man of the match award. He is in good form and could be a great option for your ENG vs NZ Cricbattle Fantasy team.

Top captains & vice captains – Jonny Bairstow and Colin Munro are the must have players in the side with the nature of the pitch favoring their style of play. They should be able to play their strokes freely and give their side a fast start. These two can be banked upon to earn fantasy points. Jonny Bairstow is due for a big knock at the top of the order for the English side. He is the obvious choice for captaincy.

Smart pick – Talk about making an impression, James Vince who still hasn’t cemented his spot in the side will definitely be confident of his chances with a composed half-century to take England across the finish line in the first T20I. With a few quick wickets, New Zealand sniffed on a comeback but Vince was quick enough to thwart any sign of a comeback.

Cautions Pick – Martin Guptill didn’t look much comfortable in the first game. He couldn’t get his flow going and tried to get too defensive early on. In the end, the pressure of the dot balls got the better of him as he ended up scoring another low score.

My XI – Jonny Bairstow (Captain), Colin Munro(Vice-Captain), James Vince, Tim Seifert, Mitchell Santner, Eoin Morgan, Adil Rashid, Chris Jordan, Ross Taylor, Colin de Grandhomme, Ish Sodhi
