England vs Australia on September 13

The Aussies were in fine form in the first ODI where Josh Hazlewood turned up a virtuoso performance with the new ball. With Glenn Maxwell and Mitchell Marsh also finding form with the bat, the Australians look well-equipped ahead of this game. The visitors have received a massive boost after Steve Smith was cleared to play the second ODI. Despite Smith's arrival, Australia have their hands full against Morgan and co, who will be itching to preserve their unbeaten record in home series this summer. With the likes of Jonny Bairstow and Mark Wood slowly getting back to their best, England will be hoping for a series-leveling win on Sunday. Both teams look evenly matched on paper, although one might fancy an England win given the superior balance in their squad. With the series on the line, one can expect both teams to come out firing on all cylinders in what should be a thrilling encounter.

Best economical pickJosh Hazlewood picked up 9 wickets in 5 ODIs this year including an excellent 3-wicket haul in the last game.

Top captains & vice captains – Aaron Finch scored only 16 runs in the 1st ODI before being dismissed by Mark Wood, and with his team already 1-0 up in the 3-match series, he will have the freedom to play his natural game right from the outset. FInch is one of the best limited-overs batsmen in the world and he looked in good touch in the T20Is, registering scores of 46, 40 and 39. Finch is primed to score big soon, and he will be key to Australia's hopes in the 2nd ODI. Joe Root hasn't had a great run post the resumption of international cricket, but he has showed signs of finding form in the domestic circuit recently. He registered a couple of fifties for Yorkshire ahead of this ODI series, but scored only 1 run before being dismissed by Hazlewood in the 7th over in the 1st ODI. With England's backs up against the wall in this game, they will turn to their Test captain to produce the goods for the side. Root is a quality player, and can't be counted out on the basis of one failure.

Smart pick – Glenn Maxwell played a brilliant knock in the last game where he scored 77 off 59 balls and can chip in with the ball too.

Cautious Pick – After suffering a blow to the head while batting in the lead-up to the 1st ODI, Steve Smith was ruled out of the game as a precautionary measure. However, the former Australian captain has since passed his concussion tests. But Australia might not take a chance to play him in the second ODI as the team played the first match did well.

My XI – Aaron Finch (Captain), Joe Root (Vice-Captain), Glenn Maxwell, Josh Hazlewood, David Warner, Jofra Archer, Jos Buttler, Mark Wood, Chris Woakes, Sam Billings, Jason Roy
